Electronic Engineer I

The Electronic Engineer I will join Advanced Energy's Customer Experience Center to develop solutions for EMC, safety, and system integration for power supplies. This position will envision and validate innovations solutions for a wide variety of applications for the industrial and medical space to accelerate our customer's adoption of AE solutions.

Requirements

• Design and develop efficient and cost-effective power supplies and solutions per customer and regulatory specifications (i.e., analog and digital circuits, EMI filters, power circuits, etc.)
• Interface with internal departments & customers to develop solutions in EMI, safety and system integration
• Develop design and simulation tools and other predictive methods to reduce changes on subsequent iterations of each design
• Conduct testing, development, and de-bugging of power supply units
• Build prototypes / modified power sources per customer requirements for preproduction testing
• Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications
