The Electronic Engineer I performs engineering work designing, developing, testing, manufacturing, and documenting power supplies and constituent subsystems at Advanced Energy in Fort Collins, CO.
Requirements
- Assist in the testing, development, and optimization of prototype power supply subsystems
- Test products and subsystems using common test equipment
- Utilize basic programming or scripting skills such as Python or MATLAB
- Analyze field and manufacturing data using statistical methods
- Diagnose issues of diverse scope with design, field performance, root cause/failure analysis, manufacturing test yields of existing RF products
- Initiate and manage through to completion engineering changes
- Identify the engineering scope of work and plan/implement engineering related activities
- Support the design and analysis of existing systems, products, and subsystems/circuits
