The Reliability Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the dependability, durability, safety, and regulatory compliance of 1HMX products by designing and executing reliability and compliance test strategies. This role works closely with various teams to translate product requirements into meaningful reliability tests, analysis of results, and identification of risks to enhance product robustness and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in reliability engineering, test engineering, product engineering, or system-level testing.
- Proven experience designing and executing reliability and durability tests.
- Strong knowledge of product testing methodologies, quality standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with EMC/EMI, wireless, product safety, and international regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to document, present, and communicate technical findings effectively.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
- Able to read and produce electrical schematics and PCB layouts to debug product failures & develop product test fixtures.
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, current meters, spectrum analyzers, as well as more specialized electrical test equipment.
- Understand how to operate, program, and coordinate calibration and maintenance of laboratory chambers (Ultra-violet, Environmental, HALT, and RF Emissions)
- Understand the use of ESD discharge and PCB strain test equipment.
