Job Description
Adventist Health Clear Lake, a leading healthcare provider in Lake County, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide expert clinical care. The role involves assessing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with the physician. They serve communities across California and the Pacific Northwest, offering various healthcare services in community and hospital settings.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of practice
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Interviews patients, constructs medical histories, performs physical exams, and diagnoses patients.
- Provides appropriate patient education.
- Oversees documentation.
- Practices under the scope of practice of a nurse practitioner and as an agent of the physician.
- Writes orders to increase, decrease, or change medication (subject to medical consultation).
