Job Description
Performs ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, produces images of internal body tissues, supervises and mentors ultrasound students, and maintains equipment. Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information, and ensures patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
- Certificate or diploma from approved ultrasound school
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB) or Vascular (RVT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification
