Job Description
Surgical Supply Coordinator coordinates and maintains the surgical supply system, ensuring it operates in a fiscally sound and efficient manner. Maintains supply inventory, orders, and distributes supplies used in the surgical department. Trains new employees and supports peer employees in issue identification and resolution.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Five years' of experience within the surgical operations or supply chain function: Preferred
- Experience in materials management, inventory control, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting: Preferred
