Job Description
The Supply Chain Coordinator-Surgery will coordinate supplies and equipment for all Operating Room specialty areas, acting as a liaison with physicians and nursing staff for special order items. The role involves maintaining inventory, flexing to meet case/physician needs, and organizing staff education. The Coordinator will also work with Materials Management and Central Supply to integrate new equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- 3 years of Operating Room Materials Management experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of health care management - medical terminology
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all aspects of Operating Room functions, processes, practices and procedures to include sterile technique
