Job Description
Facilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required
- Relevant acute care experience: Preferred
- National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST): Required
