Patient Access Lead, Day Shift, Patient Access

Patient Access Lead position at Shady Grove Medical Center, responsible for training and monitoring Patient Access Representatives, updating patient information, and exhibiting leadership skills. Must have at least 5 years of experience in patient registration and/or eligibility and benefits, and some college or post HS education preferred.

Requirements

• Some college or post HS education
• Minimum of 5 years experience within a healthcare environment
• At least 5 years experience in patient registration and/or eligibility and benefits
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must maintain a high level confidentiality
• Must work well in stressful environments without compromising quality and accuracy
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Ability to participate in an environment that promotes staff development, productivity, satisfaction and efficiency
• PC skills in a Windows environment
• Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel
• Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
