Registered Radiologic Technologist, Day Shift, Outpatient Imaging

Adventist Outpatient Imaging seeks an experienced Registered Radiologic Technologist for a Day Shift position in Silver Spring, MD. The ideal candidate will be able to perform diagnostic imaging studies, maintain patient confidentiality, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school or GED required.
• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography/and OR associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
• 1 year’s radiography experience preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) R.T.(R)
• State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong customer service & critical thinking skills
• Actions and attitudes support Adventist HealthCare’s mission and RISES values.
• Effective verbal and written skills
• Ability to work independently in a busy, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic PC skills including RIS/PACS experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
• Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment
• Stocking and management of supplies/linen for assigned area
