Job Description
Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Registered Radiologic Technologist for a Per Diem Day Shift position in our Outpatient Imaging office in White Oak, MD. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging studies, monitor and assist patients, and maintain a clean and safe environment. They will also work collaboratively with other members of the care team to expedite patients' examinations.
Requirements
- High school or GED
- Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography/and OR associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- 1 year's radiography experience preferred; New Grads welcome
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) R.T.(R)
- State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Dexa required- willing to train
- Strong customer service & critical thinking skills
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic PC skills including RIS/PACS experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
- Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment
