Job Description
Adventist HealthCare seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to serve in our Rockville, MD territory. The PTA will provide physical therapy interventions and treatments to patients under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist. The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, 2-3 years of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, and Maryland Physical Therapy Assistance Licensure.
Requirements
- Associate degree from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- 2-3 years' experience as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
- 1 year home care experience preferred
- Maryland Physical Therapy Assistance Licensure
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
