Job Description
Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, performs rooming/visit tasks, assists with procedures, performs lab duties, administers medications and vaccines, and completes other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Certification / Registration as a CMA or RMA by a National Organization
- Two years of experience in a clinical practice setting as a Medical Assistant
