Nursing Assistant CNA - Weekend Program - Ortho Unit

Assists RN with daily care of patients, measures and documents patient data, performs purposeful rounding, and participates in admission, transfer, and discharge process. Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, completes errands, and maintains stock for nursing area. Practices within policies and procedures of infection prevention and demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
• Nurse Aide certification in good standing with the State Registry
• Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) or High School Graduate
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities
