Outreach Athletic Trainer - Johnson C. Smith University

Johnson C. Smith University is seeking an Outreach Athletic Trainer to provide medical coverage for collegiate and professional sports settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in injury prevention, human movement correction, and be able to develop the next generation of collegiate athletes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in athletic training, certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) program
• Current athletic training certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)
• Currently licensed or eligible for a State of applicable state License in Athletic Training within 30 days of hire
• Ability to complete American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS), which includes CPR and AED training within 30 days of hire
