Spanish Healthcare Interpreter - (Various shifts)

This position involves providing language access to patients in a healthcare setting through interpreting, translation, and cultural mediation. The interpreter will work in a variety of modalities, including in-person, telephone, and video remote interpreting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of medical terminology, and a strong understanding of cultural implications and idiomatic language differences.

Requirements

• Proactively respond to requests for language access
• Interpret information regarding patient's and family's healthcare needs
• Act as a cultural broker and educate caregivers on patient's culture
• Translate basic written information as needed
