Structural Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer III to join their team in Cleveland or Columbus, OH, designing, analyzing, and overseeing complex structural engineering projects for various types of buildings and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• LEED AP certification is a plus
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proficiency in advanced structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong skills in finite element analysis and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Experience with various building materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
• In-depth understanding of building codes, standards, and seismic design principles
• Proven experience in project leadership and team management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with project management software and methodologies
