Aecon Group Inc. is a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, seeking a Project Controls Analyst to provide project controls support to ongoing projects and support the company's estimating and construction teams. The role involves developing and maintaining data, dashboards, KPI's, and predictive analytics for Utilities projects.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of the 'Earned Value' principles.
- Experience in data analytics tools including but not limited to advanced MS Excel, Power Query, SAP, and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Experience in automating data flow and setting up data pipelines would be an asset.
- Knowledge/ experience in using SQL & Python would be an asset.
- Experience developing dashboards, KPIS and analytics in support of business operational excellence.
- Ability to read schedules and scheduling curves/reports.
- Between two and three (2 to 3) years of related experience.
- Good knowledge of cost engineering/cost control.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
- Detail oriented and customer focused.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Hydro and Utilities experience considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education - Bachelor of Science (Engineering discipline) or C.E.T.; Bachelor of Commerce.
- Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and open to travel.
