Environmental Manager

Environmental Manager at Aecon, responsible for ensuring construction projects comply with environmental legislation, regulations, and client requirements. Collaborates with project teams to develop and maintain environmental management systems. Oversees all aspects of environmental management and sustainability. Provides direction, support, and leadership to the project team in all matters relating to environmental regulations, permits, and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or other relevant disciplines
• 10+ years' experience on major infrastructure projects in a management/supervisory position
• Comprehensive knowledge of Provincial and Federal Environmental Acts, Permits and Regulations
• Specific knowledge and application of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
• Experience working with HSE and environmental reporting management software
• Demonstrated ability in the preparation and submission of applications for environmental permits
• Demonstrated ability to write and produce environmental management plans, EPP's, procedures, manuals, SOPs, and other related material as required
