Job Description
As a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, Aecon is hiring an Environmental Manager to ensure construction projects comply with environmental legislation and regulations. The role involves implementing the Environmental Management System, auditing and reporting its performance, and overseeing environmental issues associated with the project.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in Environmental Science or other relevant disciplines
- 10+ yearsâ experience on major infrastructure projects in a management/supervisory position
- Comprehensive knowledge of Provincial and Federal Environmental Acts, Permits and Regulations
- Specific knowledge and application of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Experience working with HSE and environmental reporting management software
- Ability to write and produce environmental management plans, EPPâs, procedures, manuals, SOPs, and other related material as required
