Surveyor

Aecon is a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, and we are seeking a Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for coordinating and laying out various aspects of construction projects with a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Construction surveying industry. You will work with a team that values safety, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction surveying industry
• Knowledge of survey practices and standards
• Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of office, data, surveying, and engineering-based software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of engineering design and survey methods
• GPS and total station experience required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Available to travel to various projects
• Valid Driver’s license (Class G)
