Job Description
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Welding Superintendent to oversee construction welding activities on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) at the Clarington, Ontario facility. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, and efficient workflow within a regulated contract environment. Aecon is focused on building, connecting, power, and strengthening communities through sustainable construction and a strong emphasis on employee well-being.
Requirements
- Maintain excellent relationships with client, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and public.
- Interface with Weld Program organization daily.
- Assume responsibility for productivity of all welding trades and subcontractors, efficient use of materials and equipment and contractual performance of the project.
- Ensure projects are constructed in compliance with drawings, specifications, Field Work Packages (FWPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and project schedule and budget.
- Strong working knowledge of Nuclear Codes and Standards and CWB.
