Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and restore production quickly and safely
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance tasks per PM schedules
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Install, align, and test motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and related equipment
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting (inputs/outputs, sensors, fault codes)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety, and plant procedures
- Assist with equipment upgrades, shutdowns, and new installations
- Communicate issues and recommendations to supervisors and operators
