Professional Engineer (PE) - Geotechnical

Join our team as a Professional Engineer - Geotechnical Engineering and play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for complex geotechnical projects in the NYC Metro Area. We're seeking an experienced expert with a strong background in soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical analysis.

Requirements

• Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling and testing.
• Conduct and supervise detailed building inspections to ensure conformance to NYC & NYS codes, focusing on underpinning, geotechnical drilling, deep foundations installation, civil, and structural aspects.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, ensuring all records reflect progress, violations, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Review and analyze the design of foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures.
• Develop and implement geotechnical engineering plans and specifications.
• Conduct stability analyses for slopes and excavations.
• Evaluate soil-structure interaction and settlement analyses.
• Manage geotechnical projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and project objectives are met by closely monitoring progress.
