Job Description
Aeva is seeking a Software Engineer to develop algorithm for point cloud processing for production software. This role focuses on CPU and memory optimizations, ensuring efficient real-time processing of sensor capabilities. The engineer will translate floating-point models to fixed-point algorithms and profile performance issues in live sensor systems.
Requirements
- Analyze, benchmark and implement point cloud processing algorithms to achieve CPU, memory, and latency targets.
- Implement signal processing, detection, and lidar algorithms in C++ in production software and simulation platforms.
- Translate floating-point models to fixed-point for optimal implementation on ARM processors and FPGAs.
