Senior Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

Affinidi is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams building the Affinidi Elements platform. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in backend systems, strong leadership skills, and experience with Rust, TypeScript, and microservices in cloud environments.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering organizations in global, high-growth environments
• Strong leadership skills: coaching, mentoring, developing leaders, and fostering high-performing, inclusive teams
• Deep backend expertise in Rust, with strong knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js; Dart experience is preferred; familiarity with C#, Go, or similar is a plus
• Experience with React/Next.js and/or Flutter, solid understanding of modern web and/or mobile development practices
• Designing, deploying, and scaling microservices in cloud environments, specifically, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Advocate for privacy, security, cryptography, and resilient system design; experience with asynchronous cryptography and identity/authentication domains is a strong plus
