The Card Services Specialist is responsible for performing daily functions necessary to promote strong, exceptional member service levels regarding all ATM, debit and credit card matters.
Requirements
- Handles credit and debit card dispute claims from members and takes appropriate action to resolve appropriately while following Visa and regulatory guidelines.
- Works with member and vendor or other individuals where applicable to resolve claims and avoid chargeback.
- Works with member to obtain all necessary claim information and submits for chargeback to Visa.
- Acts as an advocate for members to ensure positive resolutions
- Manages reconcilement of chargeback process on DNA/CCM Core System: chargeback, representment, pre-arbitration through to closure.
- Assists Branch and Hub personnel relative to Plastic Card account inquires.
- Provide general account information assistance
- Researches and responds appropriately to inquiries
- Assists with Rewards program inquiries and maintenance
- Performs Plastic Card account maintenance:
- Orders new plastics
- Expedited card requests via instant issue or central issue pull request
- Closes accounts at member request
- Blocks and reorders all plastic cards, as needed
- Manages the cards reported lost/stolen process thru Visa VRU
- Blocks all cards returned to processor for invalid mailing address
- Reviews and corrects daily AP Reject Report
- Processes cycle and limit change requests
- Handles In-House Card Embossing production
- Performs card production in accordance with security standards
- Participates in monthly balance audits
- Processes member travel notifications
