Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of the purchase protection platform for their international expansion. This role involves owning and delivering quarterly goals for the team, collaborating with engineering counterparts, identifying and resolving project issues, and fostering a culture of quality. The ideal candidate will be passionate about user experiences and excited by launching products in new regions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale (Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes).
- Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Experience defining a technical plan for feature delivery with elegant and extensible design.
- Proficiency in code review and design standards.
- Strong communication skills.
