Job Description
Affirm is looking for a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to help empower Deal Reporting's first international team, and build integrations, services, and testing infrastructure to power the funding of every Affirm loan.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin
- extensive track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- knowledge of Spark and its inner workings
- experience delivering major features, system components or deprecating existing functionality in a system
- strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team
