Investment Accountant III

We are seeking an Investment Accountant III to join our team at Aflac. The successful candidate will analyze and reconcile complex investment transactions, participate in accounting and reporting of real estate owned investments, and assist with the training and development of junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Four years of professional job-related work experience in investments or related accounting/reporting
• Advanced proficiency level using Microsoft Office suite software
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and time management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the accounting standards codification (ASC)
• Knowledge of specific insurance/investment accounting principles
• General understanding of investment products
