Dance Instructor

After School Matters is seeking temporary, part-time dance instructors to teach performing arts programs for high school participants in Chicago.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in performing arts or a related field
• Content area expertise in performing arts or a related experience
• CPR Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Supervisory/teaching experience preferred
• Ability to teach formal and informal technique in group settings
• Knowledge of the relationship between performing art and real-world experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
