Medical Director (Clinical Focus) - Multi-State License

Bold is seeking a Medical Director with a strong background in preventive and lifestyle medicine to join our clinical team. The role is designed for a practicing physician who wishes to remain deeply involved in direct patient care while shaping the clinical direction and standards.

Requirements

• MD/DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Lifestyle Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in CA, TX, PA. Multistate license preferred.
• Active individual Medicare enrollment in good standing.
• 5+ years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity preferred.
• 2+ years experience in telehealth with high proficiency with EMRs & communication tools.
• Strong foundation in preventive and lifestyle-focused care including management of weight, hypertension, diabetes. Familiarity with MSK conditions and outcome measurements preferred.
• Ability to balance clinical and administrative priorities, and a commitment to data-driven quality improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy-driven clinical approach.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment—you thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building systems and processes from the ground up.
