Recreation Aide, Part-Time, Agecare Ballycliffe

The Recreation Aide plans, develops and runs a variety of meaningful recreation and leisure pursuits which promotes wellbeing, purpose, creativity, a sense of community, lifelong learning, and fun in a long-term care setting.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Graduate of a post-secondary diploma or degree program in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation or other related field from a community college or university
• Enrolled in a community college or university in a diploma or degree program in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, or other related field with the intent to successfully complete the program within three years of being hired
