The Registered Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, implements AgeCare policies and procedures, and works collaboratively with the health care team to ensure resident care needs are met.

Requirements

• A sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial and Municipal Statues
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Member in good standing of the College of Nurses of Ontario
