Provide professional nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care residence, implementing care plans and collaborating with the healthcare team. Promote a safe and secure environment and ensure regulatory compliance. Leadership responsibilities include delegating tasks, providing input on performance reviews, and participating in unit goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• A sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial and Municipal Statues
• Good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Good physical and mental health
