Controls Engineer

Aggreko seeks a Controls Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of control and protection systems for power generation and distribution packages. The role involves designing, programming, and testing control systems, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in controls and protection systems engineering, preferably within the power generation and distribution industry.
• Strong technical skills in designing, programming, and operating control systems, including PLCs and HMI development.
• Hands-on experience with generator-specific controllers, ECUs, digital AVRs, and controls for distribution assets like switchgear and transformers.
• Experience in protection relay settings and configurations for power generation and distribution.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
