Metallurgical Technician

Agnico Eagle Mines is seeking a Metallurgical Technician to work at the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing testwork, providing technical support, and ensuring safe and environmentally responsible practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field equivalent
• Chemical or Metallurgical Technologist Diploma, or experience in gold metallurgy
• 1-2 years of experience in mining process plant operations
• Eligibility to obtain security clearance to access the refinery
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications
