Mine EIT

Agnico Eagle is seeking a Mine EIT to design and maintain the mine ventilation network to achieve production and development goals. The successful candidate will review mine ventilation plans and ensure compliance with regulations, while promoting and respecting the company's values and environment.

Requirements

• Mining Engineering Technician or Technologist Diploma, or Mining Engineering Degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to work alone for extended periods of time underground
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with AutoCad, and Amine
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Reliable and self-managing
• Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment
• Working knowledge of mine design software is an asset (AutoCAD, Promine, Deswik)
• Knowledge ventilation design software (VentSim)
• Ability to use associated ventilation equipment for underground readings
• Highly adaptable with a positive disposition toward learning new skills and embracing change
