Job Description
The Ventilation Technician will design and maintain the mine ventilation network, review mine ventilation plans, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves performing air flow and temperature measurements, auditing auxiliary ventilation installation quality, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Mining Engineering Technician or Technologist Diploma, or Mining Engineering Degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to work alone for extended periods of time underground
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCad, and Amine
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Reliable and self-managing
- Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment
