Mine Senior Supervisor

Agnico Eagle is seeking a Mine Senior Supervisor to lead a team of skilled and dedicated mine supervisors and operators in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in the extraction of ore and movement of waste rock. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' supervisory experience in an open pit mining operation and a strong working knowledge of load/haul and drill & blast operations.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with extensive open pit experience; or degree in mining or related field with operations experience
• Minimum five (5) years' supervisory experience in an open pit mining operation
• Strong working knowledge of load/haul and drill & blast operations
• Proven commitment to safety, health and environmental best practices
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and accountability skills
• Proficiency with Short Interval Control and operational reporting tools
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Valid Ontario driver's license
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
