Mine Senior Supervisor

Lead a team of skilled mine supervisors and operators in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in the extraction of ore and movement of waste rock. Provide visible safety leadership and ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with extensive open pit experience
• Minimum five (5) years’ supervisory experience in an open pit mining operation
• Strong working knowledge of load/haul and drill & blast operations
• Proven commitment to safety, health and environmental best practices
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and accountability skills
• Proficiency with Short Interval Control and operational reporting tools
• Valid Ontario driver’s license
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications
