Underground Mine Supervisor

Underground Mine Supervisor at Agnico Eagle Mines' Macassa Mine, responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling daily development and production activities in a safe and efficient manner, promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

Requirements

• Actively participate in company safety programs
• Address safety issues in daily huddles
• Conduct informal and formal inspections with coaching for improvement
• Inform and receive information from and to crew and technical services about production and maintenance priorities
• Plan and organize all production and maintenance on the given shift in a proactive manner
• Lead by example, provide guidance, coach and motivate crews to work safely and productively
• Evaluate and maintain work standards
• Ensure acceptable productivity levels in skipping, slinging, maintenance etc. to meet weekly mining schedules
• Provide professional and technical support, sharing knowledge to support mine and plant projects as required
• Process departmental documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain good relations and promote positive attitude of employees
