Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW) - AHRC New York City

AHRC New York City is seeking a Full Time Social Worker to work in the agency's Department of Family and Clinical Services. The Social Worker will provide psychosocial assessment and psychotherapy treatment for the Developmental Disabilities population.

Requirements

• Master's degree (MSW/LCSW) or equivalent in Social Work from an accredited university program required.
• Current New York State Certified Social Worker.
• Experience in providing psychotherapy to treat DSM-V diagnoses
• Bilingual preferred, but not required (bilingual bonus available)
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make decisions independently and to react to unanticipated events in a timely manner
• Flexibility to operate in a rapidly-changing work environment, with ability to adapt and be sensitive to a broad spectrum of locales and circumstances
• Valid NYS Driver's License a plus
