Freelance Payroll Consultant

AIP Connect is seeking a Freelance Payroll Consultant to support a large consulting firm in the Canadian market. The role involves managing payroll for a variety of employees, ensuring accurate tax calculations, and providing administrative support. This is an administrative position based remotely and requires experience with updated taxation and payroll processes.

Requirements

• Experience with updated and new provincial and federal taxation regulations.
• Ability to run payroll end-to-end, weekly and or bi-weekly.
• Actively contribute to training new payroll manager and HR resources.
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system.
• Administer statements of payment.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
• Track and record hour rates, wages, and compensation.
• Address payroll issues and questions.
• Prepare reports for upper management and finance.
