Job Description
The Silicone Rubber Technician operates rubber mixing equipment, performs quality and laboratory testing, and maintains high standards of production quality.
Requirements
- Related education/experience in Rubber Mixing
- Prior experience as a Rubber Mixer Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to follow precise formulas, maintain high levels of accuracy in weighing and measuring raw materials, and conduct precise laboratory tests
- Computer skills, attention to detail and ability to interpret and document test results
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.), and perform physically demanding tasks as required
- Excellent critical thinking skills, problem-solving ability & continuous improvement mindset
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team, report any issues or concerns, and convey laboratory test results
