Welding Sales Specialist role at Airgas, a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent years of formalized welding experience, and five or more years in B2B or specialized sales. The role involves frequent travel within assigned territory and requires the ability to provide knowledgeable support and sharing of expertise on CNC cutting systems, robotic welding systems, and plasma/laser integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent years of formalized welding experience
- Five or more years in B2B or specialized sales
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration
- Advance the Airgas Advanced Fabrication Sales Methodology to contribute to the growth of capital equipment, robotics, and automation solutions
- Provide knowledgeable support and sharing of expertise on CNC cutting systems, robotic welding systems, and plasma/laser integration
- Act as a mentor to the wider Sales team; provide onsite product and application training for customers to help upskill their workforce and foster development
- Coordinate the installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
- Collect and report on market trends, industry activities, and customer needs to keep Airgas as a trusted reference and leader in the industry
