Thumbnail Designer

We're looking for a freelance thumbnail designer who knows how to stop the scroll and create high-performing thumbnails for YouTube videos. You should live and breathe YouTube, understand how to design for attention, and have a portfolio that proves you know how to deliver high-click-through-rate thumbnails.

Requirements

• Concept and design high-performing thumbnails for long-form and short-form YouTube videos
• Collaborate with the creative director and editors to understand the story and emotional beats of each video
• Rapidly generate, iterate, and test concepts under tight deadlines
• Keep up with YouTube thumbnail trends and continually experiment with new styles
• Ensure every thumbnail is optimized for mobile and desktop viewing
