Design Manager

AirTrunk is a technology company that scales and sustains the growth of the region’s digital future. The Design Manager role involves leading the evolution of AirTrunk’s reference data centre products, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned to customer and market needs. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in data centre design and construction, with a focus on driving innovation and delivering high-quality designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably electrical or mechanical) or a related technical field
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience and at least 5 years in data centre or mission-critical environments
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting major data centre projects in a client-side, consultancy, or contractor role
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary building services design, civil, structural and architectural
• Experience with Building Information Management (BIM) and digital design tools
• Ideally, experience working for a data centre operator and exposure to hyperscale design and cloud infrastructure in the APAC market
