Job Description
The PLC Electro-Mechanical Engineer will work with customers to support production and physical plant equipment, applying knowledge of controls/electrical/electro-mechanical maintenance and repair best practices. They will diagnose malfunctions, restore equipment to operation, and determine equipment modifications/enhancements.
Requirements
- Readily understand AIT software and controls architecture
- Respond to customer inquiries or problems in a timely and effective manner
- Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with operation's requirements
- Provide technical support on PLC's and network interfaces
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electro-mechanical equipment
- Maintain and install communication cables, power distribution cables and wiring
- Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner
- Interface with other departments/personnel to achieve processing/manufacturing requirements
