Job Description
Indian Health Service is seeking a locum dentist to conduct patient assessments, provide dental services, educate patients, manage prescriptions, and ensure quality assurance. The role involves examinations, extractions, restorations, periodontal treatment, and prosthodontics for patients of all ages, adhering to IHS regulations and safety protocols. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with pre-approved hours and no work on Federal holidays.
Requirements
- Current, active, unrestricted state dentist license from any of the 50 United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
- Current, unrestricted DEA license to prescribe medications.
- Certification in Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
Benefits
- $140 - $160 an hour
